The third Thursday after Labor Day, multitudes enjoy the exciting pace in Delaware with the running of the Little Brown Jug--one of the jewels in the triple crown of grand circuit harness racing! Paced on the fastest half-mile track in the world, the Little Brown Jug is the only such race of its caliber that still takes place in conjunction with a county fair. Harness racing occurs Sunday-Thursday at the fair, culminating with the Jugette Race on Wednesday and the Little Brown Jug on Thursday.
